Alcatel-Lucent phone systems for businesses

We select, install and maintain Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise IP phone systems, from offices with 5 users to organizations with thousands of extensions across multiple sites. ALE partner, with telephony experience since 1996.

What is an IP phone system

Enterprise Communication Systems and IP-PBX

A modern communications platform centralizes your organization's call flows: intelligent routing, hunt groups, IVR (Interactive Voice Response) services, unified voicemail and extension management. Built on your existing data network, extended IP-PBX solutions turn any device (PC, smartphone or remote home terminal) into an extension of the company number.

With decades of heritage in telecommunications engineering, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise offers advanced platforms such as OXO Connect and OmniPCX Enterprise, which combine the robustness of traditional telephony with the cloud capabilities of the Rainbow collaboration ecosystem.

Modernization

Running an older Alcatel system?

Many companies and institutions still use Alcatel systems installed 10–20 years ago. They work, but spare parts are increasingly hard to find, and remote work or integration with modern applications is limited.

We migrate these systems to current platforms, OmniPCX Enterprise for OmniPCX 4400 / Enterprise systems and OXO Connect for OmniPCX Office, in planned stages, without stopping your business.

What we aim to keep

  • Phone numbers and the numbering plan
  • Existing cabling (hybrid digital/IP phones)
  • Configuration: groups, auto attendant, call rights
Services

What we do for you

  • Assessment of the existing system and your needs
  • Solution design and a detailed quote
  • Installation, configuration and carrier connection (including SIP trunks)
  • Planned migration, outside business hours if needed
  • User and administrator training
  • Maintenance contracts, remote and on-site interventions
  • Software updates, configuration backup, expansions
Frequently asked questions

About Alcatel phone systems

How much does an Alcatel phone system cost?

The price depends on the number of users, the type of phones, the number of sites, the carrier lines and the applications you need (auto attendant, recording, contact center, Rainbow). After a short conversation about your needs, we send you a detailed quote.

Can I keep my current phone numbers?

Yes. Your numbers stay with your carrier; the new system connects to the same analog, ISDN or SIP trunk lines.

Does it work with my telecom carrier?

Alcatel-Lucent systems support analog, digital and SIP trunk lines, so they can be connected to carriers offering these services. We check compatibility before deployment.

Can I use my office extension from home or on my mobile?

Yes. With the Rainbow app, employees get full mobility and can make and receive calls on the company number wherever they are (in the office, remote or on the road).

I have an old Alcatel system. Do I need to replace everything?

Usually not. We assess the existing system and propose a migration to OmniPCX Enterprise or OXO Connect, keeping phones, cabling and configuration wherever possible.

Do you provide maintenance for Alcatel systems?

Yes. We offer maintenance contracts with remote and on-site interventions, software updates, configuration backup and configuration changes. Customers with a maintenance subscription get 24/7 support, with response times as set in their contract; for others, support is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, subject to availability.

Can I pay for the phone system monthly, with no upfront investment?

Yes. With Purple on Demand, Alcatel-Lucent solutions (on-premises OmniPCX Enterprise, cloud Rainbow or a combination) are paid monthly as a subscription, with updates included. For fully cloud-based communications there is OpenTouch Enterprise Cloud.

Need a network too?

IP phones need a stable network with PoE. See Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch switches.
